The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) in collaboration with Ogiame Ikenwoli Hospital is delighted to announce the successful completion of its Free Medical Outreach Program in Effurun, Delta State, designed to enhance access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.
The initiative brought together a dedicated team of medical professionals, volunteers, and community mobilizers who delivered a broad range of free services. These included general medical consultations, health screenings, distribution of essential medications, and health education sessions.
The outreach impacted hundreds of residents, with a strong focus on vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly. It addressed prevalent health issues including malaria, hypertension, prostate cancer scans, diabetes, and other preventable conditions, while also raising awareness about healthy lifestyle practices.
Community leaders and beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for the timely intervention, acknowledging its positive impact on the health and wellbeing of residents in Effurun and neighboring communities.
The Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to continuing similar initiatives across Nigeria, in line with its broader mission of advancing healthcare, education, and humanitarian support.
