The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation in collaboration with Matrix Energy has commissioned a solar-powered borehole for the Kandahar Community in Bauchi State under its Clean-Water Initiative Program. The project will provide thousands of residents with reliable access to clean and safe drinking water, helping to reduce water-borne diseases and improve community health.
The intervention is part of AAF’s ongoing commitment to addressing water scarcity in underserved communities through sustainable, energy-efficient water solutions. Community leaders have expressed deep appreciation for the project, describing it as a significant step toward improving daily living conditions for families in Kandahar.
