Project: Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Orphanage

The FOMWAN Orphanage in Ede is managed by the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting orphans and widows. The facility currently houses eight (8) children on-site and oversees the welfare of approximately ninety-one (91) orphans. The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation aims to transform the lives of orphans by providing them access to quality education, health, and better upkeep. In this regard, the foundation has collaborated with FOMWAN and is funding the construction of main building, and construction of classrooms block from creche and kindergarten and hostels to provide necessary items to ensure a more comfortable living environment for the children and their caregivers.
