Location: Zaria, Kaduna State
Status: Ongoing
Estimated Number of Beneficiaries: 21 Children
In a significant effort to address the growing challenge of kidney-related diseases in Borno State, the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) has donated a fully equipped kidney dialysis center. This initiative underscores AAF’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare access and enhancing the well-being of communities in need.
The dialysis center is expected to provide life-saving treatment for individuals suffering from kidney failure, offering advanced dialysis services and easing the burden on existing healthcare facilities. With chronic kidney disease becoming an increasing concern, this donation will help mitigate the financial and logistical challenges faced by patients who previously had to travel long distances for treatment.
The government and healthcare authorities in Borno State have welcomed the initiative, acknowledging the positive impact it will have on residents battling kidney-related ailments. The facility will serve as a vital resource for patients in need of dialysis treatment, ultimately improving health outcomes and saving lives.
