AAF held a Special Empowerment Program for Persons with Disabilities in Osun State.

The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) recently held a special Empowerment Program for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Osun State, showcasing its dedication to inclusivity and social development.

With a focus on fostering economic self-reliance, the initiative gathered over 200+ beneficiaries from different local government areas within Osun State. The program aimed to equip individuals with disabilities with essential tools, financial assistance, and economic opportunities to enhance their livelihoods.

During the event, beneficiaries received a range of empowerment materials such as deep freezers, grinding machines, sewing machines, generators, knitting machines, computers, and POS systems. Additionally, scholarship grants were provided to support the recipients in their education.

Taking place on November 3, 2025, in Ede, Osun State, the event was graced by various dignitaries and notable personalities, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to empowering and uplifting the disabled community.
